Sheet drainage board
Short Description:
Sheet drainage board is a type of drainage board. It is usually in the shape of a square or rectangle with relatively small dimensions, such as the common specifications of 500mm×500mm, 300mm×300mm or 333mm×333mm. It is made of plastic materials such as polystyrene (HIPS), polyethylene (HDPE) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Through the injection molding process, shapes such as conical protrusions, stiffening rib bumps or hollow cylindrical porous structures are formed on the plastic bottom plate, and a layer of filter geotextile is glued on the top surface.

Characteristics
Convenient construction: Sheet drainage boards are generally equipped with overlapping buckles around. During construction, they can be directly connected by buckling, eliminating the need for machine welding like roll - type drainage boards. The operation is simple and convenient, especially suitable for areas with complex shapes and small areas, such as the corners of buildings and around pipes.
Good water storage and drainage function: Some sheet drainage boards belong to the water - storage and drainage type, which have the dual functions of water storage and drainage. They can store some water and meet the water demand for plant growth while draining water, regulating the soil humidity. This feature makes them widely used in projects such as roof greening and vertical greening.
Convenient transportation and handling: Compared with roll - type drainage boards, sheet drainage boards are smaller in volume and lighter in weight, which are more convenient in transportation and handling. They are easy to be operated by manual work, which can reduce the labor intensity and transportation cost.
Scope of application
Greening projects: It can be used in roof gardens, vertical greening, sloping - roof greening, etc. It can not only effectively drain excess water but also store a certain amount of water for plant growth, improving the greening effect and the survival rate of plants. In the greening of garage roofs, it can reduce the load on the roof and provide a good growth environment for plants at the same time.
Construction projects: It is suitable for the drainage and moisture - proof of the upper or lower layers of the building foundation, the indoor and outdoor walls, the bottom plate and the top plate of the basement, etc. For example, in the seepage - prevention project of the basement floor, the ground can be elevated above the foundation. First, lay a sheet drainage board with the conical protrusions facing downwards, and leave blind drains around. In this way, the groundwater cannot come up, and the seepage water flows into the surrounding blind drains through the space of the drainage board, and then into the sump.
Municipal engineering: In projects such as airports, road subgrades, subways, tunnels, landfills, etc., it can be used to drain accumulated water and lower the groundwater level to protect the engineering structure from the erosion and damage of water. For example, in tunnel projects, it can effectively collect and drain groundwater to prevent water accumulation in the tunnel from affecting its service function and structural safety.
